In the last eight months I've gained 9,000 followers on Twitter. I'm going to hit 10,000 followers soon which was my goal for the year but like you said, it's not the milestone that matters. Part of me is dreading it because I know it won't feel nearly as exciting as I anticpated.

But the journey has been the most exciting part. Getting to have conversations wtih other writers who read my work and read into truths I didn't write, but still wanted to exspress. That's where the meaning is. I hope you find people that add value along your journey. I hope they stick with you!
