I’m so sorry that someone close to you passed on. Since you asked for an opinion, I’m going to share something that helped me. I started therapy in college and it helped me cope with a family trauma and my learning disorder. I started medication after college and it changed my life.
The most important thing you can do to take care of other people is take care of you. Learn how to process your emotions and needs then express those needs in a healthy way.
Once you have you under control, you can support other people while maintaining healthy boundaries and encourage them to ask for the help they need. That’s the most you can do.
